INSTRUCTION, CLINICS AND TRAINING
Team Flatwater provides instruction and training for all ages and abilities from the first time paddler to the elite level competitor. We offer private and group lessons; technical performance clinics; PaddleFit workout sessions, race team training and the South Tahoe Junior SUP Team. See Types of Training page for details.
Private/semi private and small group lessons for all levels - beginning to advanced paddlers.
Whether you are a first time paddler wanting to learn the basics or an experienced paddler seeking to improve paddle performance, our lessons are designed to maximize paddle technique and enjoyment.
Our individual attention and systematic progression goes beyond the basics. First-timers are given a solid foundation for the sport that includes basic technique, turns, weather and water safety awareness plus equipment selection and handling. Video analysis by appointment.
$90 for 90 minutes; 2 to 4 paddlers - $55.00 each;
5 or more - $35.00 each.
Things to bring: Board and paddle (rentals available through STSUP); water; towel; sunscreen. Personal flotation device (PFD) and board leash are also recommended.
All lessons and training meet next to South Tahoe Standup Paddle’s beach rental kiosk at El Dorado Beach, Lakeview Commons, South Lake Tahoe, CA (unless otherwise specified). Please note that the City of South Lake Tahoe is now charging for parking ($2/hr or $10/day).
